Personal Training +
The TaiGa approach to health and fitness is holistic. We work with you so that you can access your potential and find greater:
Vitality, Strength, Confidence, Flexibilty, Mobility
What brings people to TaiGa? Often it's the obvious reasons of wanting to lose weight, improve their fitness, change their body shape, to de-stress, find pain free movement or even simply to feel better in body and mind. What keeps them coming back? The quality of what we offer and our genuine interest in each and every one of our clients.
Lots of people come to train with TaiGa who haven't done much (or any!) exercise in years. Sometimes it takes that little bit of motivation and action to just do it. Stuart can help you ease in gently or jump straight in. Stuart also works with sports people to provide cross-training for injury prevention and enhanced performance. The range of diverse classes provides a great supplement and maintence for your one to one training.
The unique work Stuart offers in private sessions can give you an extra dimension, greater knowledge and focus. This isn't just exercise. It's working together to acheive your goals, increasing body awareness and moving better and feeling fantastic in body and mind.
The Best Version of You
Personal Training with Tai-Ga integrates a wide range of disciplines and methods to ensure that your interest is high and your body is always being challenged. Following your initial physical analysis session or consultation, Stuart puts together a bespoke plan with your goals in mind. Designed to be progressive and challenging, the plan will take you through all facets of fitness development, making sure that you are not just leaner, but also stronger, more flexible, more stable and agile.
Along with muscle, strength and endurance training, you can also opt for a nutrition plan and private sessions in Tai Chi and yoga.
Free Range & Fluid Bodies
Years of personal study and teaching movement and fitness disciplines has led to Stuart's unique approach to assisting people who are working through injury recovery and prevention. Looking at how the body moves as a whole and where there are restrictions can help to optimise your potential for greater ease and range of movement. Specific activities such as myofascia release with therapy balls, strength training, Tai Chi and yoga can all assist the body to return to its normal state of health and function.
This is all about staying motivated, getting results and getting them on schedule. Stuart will help you maximise your cross training and recovery programme to get the most from your sport or activity.
It includes the five classic components of fitness: muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility, with subsets such as power and speed. An analysis of what area you need to develop will inform your programme. It is based on our FREAK system of Frequency, Resistance, Exercise Type, Aerobic and Anaerobic and Kinaesthetic Awareness.
